‘Do As the Best Do’
Samson Machinery Inc was founded in 1975 by Mr Lin Kun-Te. Since then the company has grown 10 per cent per year on average and has produced the only Taiwanese machine capable of producing 24-inch tyres, the ZR2024.
In thirty years of manufacturing, working with customers in numerous countries, Samson has acquired a level of knowledge and experience that has enabled it to follow a pattern of steady growth. The business’ growth has been particularly strong in recent years, something that has been reflected in factory size, worker numbers and sales figures.
Samson provides a wide range of tyre equipment and the company’s main products include: tyre-building machines, band-building machines and ply servicers. From bicycle to truck and bus tyres, and from passenger radials to industrial and agricultural (OTR) tyres; bias or radial, small or large, Samson claims to provide the most suitable tyre building machines to its customers. s
Samson attaches great importance to machine quality. All equipment produced since 2003 has been designed using computerised 3D drawing software. In 2004 Samson started to use a dynamic simulation system. This way the company is able to simulate machine motions before fabrication, while helping to upgrade machines’ functions and maximise quality control. Samson expects its machines to have a service life of 20 years under normal operation.
The Taiwanese country’s bias truck tyre building machine TB20H has been upgraded from the company’s old design – “TB2024D.” The modified band guiding system design means the band can be pulled directly onto the drum without needing to apply any stearic acid or chemical wax.
“Honesty, Persistence, Stable quality and Service” are all company traits, Samson literature explains. The company hold ISO 9001, CE, and EQA (UKAS) CERTIFICATE approval. But it doesn’t end here, Samson even has a motto that sums its growth strategy: “Hire the best, work with the best, do as the best do.”
