Stapletons Makes Changes for the Future
Car tyre wholesaler Stapletons has announced a number of operational changes as the first step in a strategy to focus on customer service and improved efficiency. Chief Executive Officer Kenji Murai announced the changes today (11th October), describing them as part of a strategic review aimed at setting Stapletons apart from its competitors and developing the business further.
Changes included the closure of the company’s Dereham tyre distribution centre, with services directed to the company’s Letchworth hub; new stock distribution methods at Stapletons’ Bristol, Coatbridge and Warringotn distribution centres and new support systems.
Chief executive officer, Kenji Murai confirmed that the changes were being made as part of a “strategic review and would involve around 50 redundancies.”
