Bridgestone to Exhibit at Tokyo Motor Show
Bridgestone will run a booth at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show to be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City from 22 October to 1 November.
The theme of the Bridgestone stand this time is “Technology for People”, and will comprise three corners – Premium, Future, and Safety – and will introduce aspects of tyres and technology supporting automobiles, which are such an important part of people’s lives.
The primary exhibit in the Premium corner will be the Ferrari GG50*2 concept car, designed by world-renowned car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and equipped with Bridgestone’s flagship Potenza RE050 tyres. The company will illustrate the reliability and proven results that the tyres on the world’s flagship cars have garnered around the world.
In the Future corner, Bridgestone will showcase technologies to benefit the whole vehicle system by looking beyond the tyre, such as the new in-wheel motor for electric-powered cars.
The Safety corner will display tyre technologies focusing on safety and comfort of the driving experience. Bridgestone plans to demonstrate its run-flat tyre technology and peripheral systems.
