Bridgestone Reacts to Changing Market
Bridgestone UK has promoted Keith Thomas to the position of national account manager, with Simon Davies taking up Mr Thomas’ previous role as national account executive. According to Keith, the promotions illustrate Bridgestone’s commitment to enhancing its UK sales operations.
“By strengthening the team in this way, we can spend more time speaking to our customers to find out exactly what they want,” said Thomas, who has more than 12 years experience in the motor industry, the past five of which have been spent with Bridgestone UK.
Simon joined Bridgestone UK in January 2003 to work as area sales manager for the Midlands, and has more than 20 years experience in the tyre industry. “There is great competition in the UK tyre market at the moment, and in order to succeed you have to trust in the brands you are selling. Bridgestone is an exciting brand, so I’m sure Keith and I will enjoy the challenges ahead,” he said.
