Tyre Mechanics Short Course
The 30th Annual Tire Mechanics Short Course is to be held concurrently with the Tire Technology Expo and Conference in Stuttgart, from 6 –9 March 2006. According to the organisers, this four-day educational and developmental course will provide engineers and scientists with an in-depth, intense study of developments surrounding tyre engineering.
The course is designed for practicing engineers, chemists and scientists who work in the field of tyres and vehicles. Over 1,000 pages of course notes prepared by the instructors will be provided for all full course participants.
This year’s Tire Technology Conference will feature a special session on day two, covering the results of the recent EU funded VERTEC (Vehicle Road Tyre and Electronic Control systems interaction) project. The conference will also include sessions on: New manufacturing technology, nanotechnology, materials technology, black hole to black box, tyre design and performance modelling, tyres and the environment, noise and comfort.
