Pirelli to Fit New Peugeot 407 Coupé

Pirelli has announced that its tyres will be fitted as OE on the new Peugeot 407 Coupé, at an international press conference in Granada, Spain. The new 407 will be exclusively equipped with 18 inch P Zero Nero UHP tyres.

In particular the P Zero Nero tyres are characterised by a special structure produced with thermally stable materials and with tread compound in which the interaction between polymers, silicas and resins produces particular adhesive characteristics at high temperature in the dry and low temperature in the wet.

These benefits combined with a flat tread pattern profile ensure an even footprint distribution and improved stability at high speeds and with lateral accelerations as well as excellent grip and resistance to aquaplaning.

The new Pirelli homologation for the Peugeot 407 Coupé and the exclusive equipment of all the cars with V6 engine presented at the international media test drive reinforce the important collaboration existing between the two companies. Pirelli High Performance and Ultra High Performance tyres have been chosen as original equipment for the Peugeot 206, 307 and 607 models, as well as on the 407 Saloon and SW ones. In addition Pirelli is the official tyre supplier for Peugeot to the World Rally Championship with the P Zero racing range.
