Pirelli OE On New Audi RS4

Pirelli has announced that it will provide original equipment for the new Audi RS4 range. The Italian tyre manufacturer made the announcement at the Pirelli proving ground in Vizzola Ticino – exclusively fitting the vehicle with the company’s ultra high performance P Zero Rosso and P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico tyres.

The P Zero Rosso and P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico are said to be derived from Pirelli’s motorsport involvement and are used can be used on both the road and track. The P Zero Rosso tyre is homologated in sizes 255/40 ZR18 and 255/35 ZR19 while the P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico model is homologated on size 255/35 ZR19.

Pirelli sees the new homologation for all the new RS4 range and the equipment of all the cars presented at the Pirelli proving ground as confirmation of the technological partnership between Pirelli and Audi, in particular on the Audi Quattro models as well as the company’s strong positioning on the market’s higher segments.
