MOT Testing Turns 45

Emissions testing was introduced in the 1990s and Bosch has since supplied the aftermarket with the Bosch Emission System Analyser (BEA) range of emission testers, designed specially to meet the requirements of the MOT computerisation scheme.

The modular system can be modified or extended to meet a garage’s precise requirements, and boasts 17 inch colour monitors throughout and the VOSA approved RTM430 Diesel Smoke Chamber. The BEA analyser range covers both petrol emissions and diesel smoke emissions to the latest government legislation.

Bosch’s range of diagnostics includes not only testing technology and training, but also offers a range of technical advice and information from books, CD-ROMs and wall-charts to a technical telephone hotline.
