Hunter Aligns Ferraris at Maranello
Ferrari is upgrading all its Hunter conventional senor wheel alignment systems to incorporate new digital imaging technology. For the last 12 years every new car made at Ferrari’s Maranello plant has received a final ‘Hunter’ wheel alignment check before leaving Maranello, according to Pro-Align.
Ferrari has now implemented a programme of upgrading all their Hunter conventional sensor systems to the new technology of digital imaging. The advanced technology, superior software and robust nature of the camera assembly, have proved to be quick, efficient, reliable and accurate, the company reports.
“Upgrading from conventional sensors to digital imaging is being seen throughout the industry now. In the world of wheel alignment Hunter’s digital imaging system is the ‘Top Marque’. It is so much easier to use, it’s quick and efficient and so increases throughput and revenue, that people are investing in order to reap the rewards,” commented Pro-Align’s Paul Beaurain.
