Another Bridgestone Winner
Ex-Grand Prix star and BBC MotoGP commentator, Steve Parrish, visited Bridgestone UK’s Warwick HQ last week to draw the winner of the second phase of the manufacturer’s 2005 dealer and customer promotional campaign: ‘Grip the Road – Escape to Freedom’
Every customer who buys a set of Bridgestone tyres from a participating dealer is entered into a prize draw to win a new Ducati 999, which the winner will collect at the Valencia MotoGP round in November.
The dealer is also rewarded too. In phase two the winner was Alan Duffus of Alan Duffus Motorcycles in Scotland, who wins a trip for two to Valencia.
The race is now on for the third and final stage of the competition running from August to October. The winner of that phase will enjoy a trip to the first MotoGP round of 2006 – Jerez in Spain on 26th March.
Arthur Macdonald, Bridgestone UK’s motorcycle tyres manager said: “We now know who the two trade winners are for Valencia. At the Malaysian GP Loris Capirossi will pull a name from the hat containing all the customer application forms. The winner will be presented with his or her Ducati 999 on the Valencia trip as well. It’s the culmination of a huge campaign.”
