Amerityre Distributes Prototypes

Amerityre has completed the developmental phase of its non-pneumatic spare passenger car tyre and is now producing prototypes for the automotive industry to test and evaluate.

The tyres passed FMVSS testing standards and can carry loads up to 2,000 lbs per tyre.

Richard Steinke, Amerityre’s president and CEO commented: “The automotive industry evaluation phase is the next important step towards commercialising this technology. We now have a product that can cover the entire range of small to full size automobiles. We’ve had discussions with several interested car companies and they have been anxiously waiting for samples.”
