Titan Reports 2Q Net Sales Increase
(Akron/Tire Review) Titan International Inc. has announced that net sales increased $13.5 million, or 11 per cent, in the second quarter of 2005, compared to the second quarter of last year.
Net sales for 2005’s second quarter were $134.7 million, Titan reported. Additionally, income from operations was $14.3 million, which was an improvement of $1.6 million or 13 per cent in the quarter, the company said. Adjusted net income in the quarter was $7.5 million, an increase of 33 per cent over the second quarter of 2004, and debt declined $52.3 million in the quarter, marking the company’s lowest debt level since 1993, according to Titan.
