Steelworkers Tyre Industry Head to Retire

(Akron/Tire Review) John Sellers, executive vice president of the United Steelworkers and head of its rubber and plastics group, has announced that he will retire 1 September. Sellars started with the former United Rubber Workers (URW) union 39 years ago. Succeeding Sellers will be Ron Hoover, who joined the URW in 1964.
