Prince’s Tribute to Bandvulc for Backing Reservists

Thanking them for their ongoing support of reservist employees, particularly those who have been mobilised, The Prince of Wales said: “The role played by the Reserve Forces is so important in today’s world. They make an incredible contribution in so many different parts of the world. I know how difficult it is for employers to release Reservists for service and I would like to thank you for the tremendous contribution you have made.”

Mr O’ Connell said: “I believe it’s important to support our reservists. They perform an important role for the nation and the skills and experience they gain makes them valuable employees. We give them our full support and are particularly proud of Richard’s achievements.”

Tim Corry, Campaign Director, SaBRE (Supporting Britain’s Reservists and Employers) said: “Mobilisation is obviously a time of concern for Reservists and employers alike. To know that their employer is supportive makes a huge difference to Reservists.

“SaBRE’s role is to listen to employers’ concerns, relay these to the MOD and support employers by providing information on the benefits, rights and obligations associated with employing a member of the Volunteer Reserve Forces.”
