New Deterrent for Car Thieves
The very latest device in the battle against the car thieves has been launched by security specialists, Autolok. Developed from the Autolok 2000, the new Autolok 2000 Plus incorporates the latest security technology and new user friendly features.
Vigorously tested by experts to resist combined attacks of over 15 minutes, the Autolok 2000 Plus has an improved locking device and high security arm with maximum hardened steel, earning it the approval of both of the UK’s top independent security experts, Sold Secure and Thatcham.
It comes ready to use straight out of the box. The semi-circular steel shield simply slides over the steering wheel to cover all vulnerable parts.
The hardened steel arm extends to prevent the steering wheel being turned and retracts into the unit for storage, when not in use. It fits all standard steering wheels 350mm-400mm diameter, including the new chunkier steering wheels with airbags.
“With over 200,000 cars stolen in England and Wales every year, drivers need to keep one step ahead of the car thieves. The new Autolok 2000 Plus is designed to do exactly that,” said Autolok managing director, Dave Brearley.
Bright yellow for maximum visibility, a smart chrome version – the EXS Plus – is also available and both cost less than £70.
