Delphi Adds 290 Part Numbers

Delphi has added 290 new shock absorber references to its 2005 aftermarket parts catalogue, giving the company 97 per cent coverage of the European vehicle parc. Delphi’s shocks are categorised as either “Delphi de Carbon Comfort” twintube or “Delphi de Carbon Performance monotube.” To help customers find the right part quickly, each vehicle marque is listed alphabetically and then in numerical order according to model and engine size. Columns across the page show the correct monotube and twintube references suitable for the front or rear of the vehicle.

To help customers promote the product, Delphi offers a complete communication package, including posters, brochures, presentations and videos. The catalogue has been designed after asking customers what they wanted from such a publication to help them drive their businesses. According to Corinne Le Rolland, European product manager, shocks, “It turned out that a well-laid-out catalogue that helps them find the right part quickly is essential and that’s precisely what we’ve delivered. Our 2005 catalogue is a one-stop shop designed specifically with speed in mind.”

Delphi has over 40 years’ experience in aftermarket shock absorber production, with its main manufacturing sites located in Poland and Spain. The company also claims an 11 per cent share of the European original equipment shock absorber market.
