Bridgestone Adds New Winter Sizes

(Akron/Tire Review) Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) is preparing for the winter months ahead with size additions to the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22 RFT, Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25, Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3 and Winterforce tyre lines.

“It may be hot outside now, but winter is just around the corner – and with it comes hazardous snow and ice conditions,” said Phil Pacsi, executive director, North American Consumer Tire Marketing, BFNT. “The Blizzak and Winterforce winter tyre lines are rapidly growing as customers appreciate and value their ability to handle unpredictable driving situations with ease.”

The new sizes of the Blizzak LM-22 are 225/45R17 and 205/55R16.

Next, the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 directional, studless H and V-speed rated winter tyre will also be available in the following sizes: 195/55R15; 205/50R16; 215/55R16; 225/55R16; 225/45R17; 235/45R17; 245/45R17; 245/40R18 (available in November); 255/40R18; (available in November); 265/35R19 (available in November); and 205/45R17 (available Oct. 15).

And, the new sizes of the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3, available Nov. 1, include: 205/75R15; P215/75R15; P225/75R15; P235/75R15; 215/70R15; P225/75R16; P245/75R16; P265/75R16; 225/70R16; P255/70R17; 265/70R17; P245/65R17; P255/65R17; 235/60R18 (available Nov. 15); P265/50R20 (available Nov. 15); and LT235/75R15.

Finally, the Winterforce tire is available now in the following sizes: P265/75R16; P265/70R16; P265/70R17; 205/60R16; and 225/55R17.
