Avon Renews Racing School Contract
Avon Tyres has renewed its association with Castle Combe circuit and has agreed a new contract to provide tyres to its racing school.
The tyre manufacturer has been involved with the track for 50 years making it the longest motorsport sponsorship in the world.
The tyres supplied to Castle Combe have been specially selected for the vehicles they’ll be driven on, explains the company. The School’s Ford Focus models will run on Avon‘s ZV3 tyres, the single-seater Formula Fords on CR322s and Subaru Imprezas on ZZ3s.
“This is a very valued partnership, one based on our mutual enthusiasm for motorsport – both in the professional field, and also for first time novices on the track. We’re delighted to be continue of support of Castle Combe, something we have embraced since the early ‘50s,” said Cooper-Avon Tyres’ European marketing manager, David Carson.
