Zenith Appoints Kwik-Fit as Main Tyre Provider
Fleet management company Zenith Vehicle Contracts, has appointed Kwik-Fit as its first-tier provider of tyres and tyre products. The move is a result of Zenith’s decision to upgrade its Servicecall operation, which manages the maintenance of its 15,000-car fleet. Servicecall has now been brought in-house and its business hours extended so they now run from 7.30am to 6.30pm. Kwik-Fit will handle all out-of-hours calls through its Tannochside call centre in Scotland.
Zenith commercial director, David Loseby, said: “We decided to bring Servicecall in-house in order to provide drivers with faster response times and a level of service that was commensurate with the growth in our fleet
size. Since we did this, the number of calls we have been able to handle has increased by 54 per cent.”
“We have been a supplier of fast-fit services to Zenith for a number of years. Our new partnership builds on that relationship and means that we are the exclusive supplier of tyre services to Zenith customers, who will be able to utilise both our centres and our increasing number of mobile units,” said Nigel Davies, Kwik-Fit Fleet’s director of corporate accounts.
Zenith Vehicle Contracts Ltd currently manages a fleet of 15,000 vehicles. Clients include many blue chip organisations such as Atkins plc, Persimmon Homes, CB Richard Ellis, Lafarge Aggregates Ltd, DuPont (UK) Ltd and Asda.
