Treadways Announces Organisational Changes
(Akron/Tire Review) Treadways Corp has announced several organisational changes, effective 1 May. First, Lyle Symonds has been appointed senior vice president of private brand sales. Mr Symonds will oversee Treadways’ Laramie, Eldorado, Jetzon and Telstar tyre divisions and will report directly to Roy Araki, president. Previously, Mr Symonds was vice president, sales and marketing for the company’s Eldorado division.
Next, Chris Dickson, currently dealer development manager for Treadways’ TreadXpress division, has been appointed vice president, sales and marketing for Eldorado Tyre. Dickson will report directly to Symonds in the company’s headquarters office in East Norriton, Pennsylvania.
Thirdly, Bob Klimm has been appointed vice president, sales and marketing for Laramie Tire. He, too, will report to Symonds but will continue work from Dallas. Bob Klimm was most recently national sales director of TreadXpress.
At the same time John McAndrew has been appointed vice president, sales and marketing of TreadXpress. He will be responsible for growing sales in the eight TreadXpress wholesale centres in the US McAndrew will remain in California and report directly to Roy Araki.
Richard Purol, vice president, sales and marketing for Sumitomo Tire, will continue to report to Mr Araki.
