Stapletons Appoints Interim Retail General Manager

Stapletons Tyre Services has appointed a new Interim retail general manager to join its expanding business. Keith Pringle joins Stapletons from his previous position at the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes (NAAFI), where he was a management consultant. Previous to that, Keith was director of operations at national pub retailer, Scottish and Newcastle.

Reporting to chief operating officer, Alan Denton, Mr Pringle’s responsibilities include the overall management of Stapletons’ retail operation (51 automotive retail centres in the UK) together with the commercial and agricultural division.

Speaking of his appointment, Keith Pringle commented: “This is an exciting time in Stapletons’ development. We aim to move Stapletons’ retail business forward and focus on future retail strategies and opportunities to launch new offers within the UK.”

Alan Denton, Stapletons’ chief operating officer, said: “Keith will play a pivotal role in ensuring our retail operations operate effectively and that we fully exploit opportunities to expand our business on a national level. We want our customers to experience the best level of service from our centres and I’m sure that Keith will work hard to achieve this.”
