SmarTire Offered on Luxury Motorhomes

SmarTire’s active tyre monitoring system is now available on a luxury line of motorhomes
Smartire has announced that Western Recreational Vehicles Inc. is offering SmarTire’s active TPMS as optional equipment on their prestigious Alpine Coach Limited Series line of recreational vehicles. With over 34 years of recreational vehicle manufacturing experience, Western RV is one of the top producers in the US of diesel powered Class “A” motorhomes.

The SmarTire for RVs system incorporates high pressure transmitters, an improved receiver as well as a graphic display mounted in view of the driver. SmarTire for RVs monitors both tyre pressure and temperature, warning the driver if a tyre is under-inflated, loses pressure while driving or if the tyre temperature rises abnormally.

An important new feature of the SmarTire for RVs system is that it can be configured to include additional low pressure sensors to monitor the wheels of a towed vehicle or trailer. This complete system provides RV owners with a new level of safety, convenience and piece of mind, knowing that all the wheels on their RV and towed vehicle or trailer are being monitored.
