Coker to Offer Michelin Lifestyle Products
(Akron/Tire Review) Michelin Lifestyle Ltd. has signed a licensing deal with Coker Tire Co. for the development and marketing of Michelin-branded products, including garage accessories, apparel, personal accessories, high-end memorabilia and collectibles.
According to Michelin Lifestyle, Coker will offer these products through Coker Tire’s North American catalogue operations and online store at www.coker.com.
“This is an exciting opportunity for Coker Tire, and we are looking forward to working closely with Michelin to develop, design and market quality items for auto enthusiasts, hobbyists, and collectors that can augment their automotive lifestyle,” said Corky Coker, president of Coker Tire.
Michelin Lifestyle said that the first products to be made available through Coker Tire include Michelin Grand Tour Travel Pouches, European-style travel bags, an 11-piece vintage Bibendum metal sign collection, and a series of six classic Michelin posters depicting the Bibedum from the early 1900s.
Future product offerings will include postcards, figurines, die-cast models and ceramic products.
