Win with UK Equipment
John Bean is offering visitors to the ATS/CV show the chance to win a GPS satellite navigation system. In association with UK Equipment Group John Bean will be running a ‘3D Alignment Time Trial’ where, the person who aligns the car in the shortest time wins the system.
Competitors will be using the Visualiner 3D Arago, which the company says is one of the fastest alignment systems on the market. The system uses 3D digital imaging technology, and does not require run-out compensation or levelling of the measuring targets. It’s Windows XP software guides the operator through the measuring procedure and provides full alignment readings within four minutes says UK Equipment Group.
“Unfortunately there is a perception in the UK market that computerised alignment is difficult to use and has long set-up times,” said Brian O’Sullivan, general manager of John Bean/UK Equipment. “We look forward to quashing this myth and demonstrating to visitors that the Visualiner 3D Arago, with its self-calibrating cameras and user-friendly software, is one of the easiest alignment systems to use”.
Mr O’Sullivan’s message is – if you would like to be the Roger Bannister of wheel alignment come to the John Bean stand (11-420) and beat the four minute mark.
The company will also be offering show visitors the chance to enter a free competition to win a Hofmann Geodyna 4801 computerised wheel balancer worth over £3,000.
Participants have to answer three simple questions on balancing technology to qualify for the draw, which will take place at the Brityrex show in May. The reason for the competition is to celebrate the 15,000 Hofmann wheel balancers that have been sold by the company in the UK since setting up its UK garage equipment division back in 1969.
