Tyres & Accessories Expands International Agreement
Tyres & Accessories is pleased to announce that it has extended its editorial cooperation agreement to include magazines from South Africa (Southern Africa Treads), Asia (Rubber Asia) and Australia (Australian Tyre Dealer). The enhanced group, together with existing partners, Tire Review, NeueReifenZeitung and Tyres & Accessories now have a unique partnership designed to further enhance each magazine’s ability to provide its readers with high quality global information.
The latest announcement follows T&A’s initial agreement with US magazine Tire Review earlier this year. At the time both magazines said that the agreement could be expanded to include other mutually beneficial opportunities and the latest additions represent the fulfilment of this objective. The exclusive arrangement will see the magazines share editorial content including news, feature articles and interviews. In addition, the magazines will examine ways they can work together on projects requiring a global perspective.
Commenting on the development, Klaus Haddenbrock, publisher of Tyres & Accessories and NeueReifenZeitung said: “We are very pleased to be working with this excellent range of high quality publications. Today’s announcement demonstrates our willingness to publish the most useful information from around the world, while maintaining our focus on our respective home markets.”
“South Africa, India and Australia are major markets in the tire industry, and news from those major markets will be invaluable to our North American readers,” said Jim Smith, editor of Tire Review. “Everyone involved in this unique consortium understands fully that the tire industry is entirely a global one, and that the events, issues and innovations of one region of the world directly impact every other part of the world.
“As we collectively move forward, we will continue to build on our arrangement,” Smith said, “to give our combined readership the best possible advantage in their respective markets.”
