Penske Names Goodyear as 2004 Tire Supplier of the Year

Penske Truck Leasing has named The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as 2004 Tire Supplier of the Year. Goodyear supplies Penske with a variety of truck tyres, including replacement and retreaded. In 2004, Penske extended a primary supplier agreement with Goodyear until at least 2008.

Steve McClellan, Goodyear’s vice president of commercial tire systems, said: “We have developed an excellent supply relationship with the Penske team. More importantly, Penske has understood the importance of using our business tools to help lower their tire costs.”

Ken McKibben, senior vice president field maintenance for Penske Truck Leasing, added: “Goodyear has been an excellent partner. We look forward to continuing our relationship with this highly valued supplier.”
