MWS to Launch Forged Aluminium CV Wheel

Motor Wheel Service Group, the Manchester-based independent distributor of commercial vehicle wheels, will be launching a full range of forged alloy wheels at this year’s CV Show. According to the company, the new forged alloy wheels are exclusive to the MWS Group and will increase the comprehensive range of wheels already stocked by MWS. The company did not release details of where or which company will produce the wheels.

The MWS forged alloy range will include both polished and machine-finished wheels and will be available through the company’s MWS Wheel Systems (OEM source) and MWS Aftermarket divisions.

Engineers from the company have been instrumental in all stages of its design and build and were on the production line as the first wheels rolled off. The finished wheels are tested to meet international quality standards, including TUV accreditation. The new MWS forged alloy wheels will be available for medium and heavy duty trucks, trailers and buses, will be stocked in sizes from 17.5 “ x 6.00 “ to 22.5 “ x 17.00.”

Commenting on the launch, John Ellis, managing director of Motor Wheel said: “For years Motor Wheel has been recognised as the number one source of wheels for the commercial vehicle market in the UK. The commercial vehicle show will run from 5 – 7 April at the NEC in Birmingham.
