Michelin Recommends Two New Supervisory Board Members

After consultation with supervisory board, the Groupe Michelin managing partners will submit a resolution to appoint two new supervisory board members at the company’s annual shareholders meeting on 20 May 2005.

Mrs Laurence Parisot, is CEO of Optimum and CEO of Groupe IFOP. She is also a member of Conseil Economique et Social, MEDEF’s executive board and Ernst & Young’s Executive Board Office as well as Euro Disney SCA’s supervisory board.

Irish national, Mr Pat Cox was European Parliament President between 2002 and 2004 and is currently managing partner of “European Integration Solutions LLC,” an American company.

At the same time another supervisory board member, Mr Grégoire Puiseux, has indicated that he does not wish to renew his mandate.
