Michelin Invests in ATS Euromaster
Michelin has confirmed that it will be injecting a multi-million pound investment package into its UK service chain ATS Euromaster this year, so that it can continue to develop its added value customer focus started in 2004. According to the company this 10-year programme is part of a wider investment schedule that will be introduced and rolled out throughout the coming years.
The refurbishment of the company’s 530 service centres will be central to the development. 80 centres have been identified for renovation in 2005, and work has already begun, reports ATS Euromaster. The upgraded centres will also feature new facilities for cars, vans and MOT-testing.
Employees will also undergo further customer service training as part of the refurbishment programme. The company intends to “elevate the quality of customer service and care throughout the company to the highest in the industry.”
Nick Gregg, ATS Euromaster’s group managing director, commented: “Offering exceptional customer service is at the heart of ATS Euromaster’s overall objective. With the financial backing of Michelin, we are striving to ensure that the continued investment into our centres and our staff will deliver an unrivalled service for both our business and private customers.”
