Lassa to Exhibit at Autopromotec 2005

Lassa has announced that it will be exhibiting at the Autopromotec 2005 show in Bologna on 18 – 22 May. Autopromotec 2005 is attracting an increasing number of national and international visitors, according to the company. Demonstrating its faith in the show, Lassa describes the exhibition as a “valuable opportunity to further penetrate the Italian and international markets, and primarily to support their key customer base within Italy.”

The decision to exhibit at Autopromotec 2005 is driven by Lassa’s desire to work in partnership with its customer network, the company reports. As a result, Lassa’s presence at the show is a shared venture between Lassa and its Italian customers. The space on the 128m2 stand has been designed to accommodate all interested parties.

The company will exhibit a number of new products in Bologna, including:

· The Impetus Sport is an advanced and precise W-rated high performance tyre for saloon cars. This tyre has an innovative unidirectional pattern on the tread, providing considerable resistance to aquaplaning whilst the High Wet Grip Compound also provides exceptional grip on wet surfaces.

· The Atracta is Lassa’s first T-rated tyre to have an asymmetric tread, ensuring an improvement in all key performance indicators, notably grip in all weather conditions. The Atracta has been extremely well received by customers and further range extension is planned.

· The Transway tyre for vans and light trucks utilises a tread pattern geometry that delivers maximum traction on wet surfaces along with improved handling and braking in all conditions. Improved ride comfort and a reduced noise level have also been prioritised.
