Dunlop Race Academy II
The Dunlop Race Academy is back and will again offer driving enthusiasts the chance to race at Silverstone in a televised championship race.
Seven regional finalists will eventually qualify to receive expert racing tuition from Le Mans driver Calum Lockie before competing against each other on the track where they will be whittled down to the final three. After a series of tests the final three competitors will go head to head at Silverstone and the winner will compete in the Dunlop Driver’s Cup; the final round in the Ginetta Championship.
Dunlop’s brand manager, Geraldine McGovern, said: “The Dunlop Race Academy offers people who love racing the chance to experience the real life of a racing driver, both the driving and the lifestyle. We’re looking for competitors who have the confidence to hold their nerve both on the track and in the spotlight of the press.”
