Autopromotec 2005 is ‘Sold Out’
Exhibition space at Autopromotec 2005 is all sold out, with a number of company’s even joining a waiting list to take part in the show, exhibition organisers have reported. Furthermore, they are forecasting that attendance at Autopromotec 2005 will exceed the 2003 show, which counted 83,850 industry professionals from 103 countries.
According to those responsible for the show, when the 2005 show opens on 18 May, 110,000 square metres of exhibition space will be available, an increase of 10 per cent. There will also be a new conference centre and over 1,000 exhibitors (up 10 per cent). Of these a quarter will be international visitors from 33 countries.
The Ministry of Production Activities, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation, the Italian Trade Board and the Regione Emilia-Romagna have all pledged their support to the exhibition, which will be held in Bologna.
This year, for the first time, the traditional sectors of equipment and tyres will be complemented by spare parts and car services, i.e., the official service networks of automakers and independent repair shops. These two new segments will be given a special exhibition hall of 10,000 square metres. As in previous editions, the exhibitors will be confined to the manufacturers themselves or large-scale distributors.
