UK Equipment Appoints North-West Sales Manager

UK Equipment Ltd has appointed Warren McKay as its area sales manager for the North-West. He has over twenty years experience in the automotive industry, primarily in the wheel service and parts industry.

Mr McKay’s career began in a family run business, Alexander McKay Industrial Tyres, where he eventually took over management of the company in 1987; expanding its business into the private servicing sector and MOT testing. More recently he worked as a sales consultant for Advantage Data Systems, who represent main dealer franchised parts departments to promote parts sales into the local body and mechanical repair sector. Warren McKay is also a qualified MOT tester.

“Warren’s experience as both an end-user and manager in the fast-fit industry will prove invaluable when promoting the Hofmann and John Bean range of wheel service equipment”, said Chris Pleass, sales manager at UK Equipment. “Having often purchased garage equipment in the past Warren fully understands our customers needs.
