New Land Rover 3 and Discovery 3 Exhausts
Quicksilver has launched a stainless steel exhaust system specially designed for the new Land Rover 3 and Discovery 3 V8 petrol and Turbo Disel V6. According to the company, the new products are for “bold confident people who enjoy making a fashion statement,” and provide “a distinguished air of supremacy.”
The news exhausts use type 304 austenitic stainless steel and the pipes are mandrel bent to keep a constant internal diameter throughout the length ensuring an even flow of exit gases. The tail pipes feature left and right twin polished stainless steel 90 millimetre cones showing a crafted angular slash cut. The Sports rear sections fit with the factory Tow Package and are a bolt-on fit – taking approximately 30 minutes. All of the systems can be bought “off-the-shelf” from QuickSilver dealers or directly by contacting QuickSilver.
QuickSilver Exhaust Systems has been engaged in the manufacture of stainless steel exhausts since 1973.
The company draws on a combination of British motor sport technology and traditional craftsmanship to produce performance exhaust systems. Each system has a sound designed specifically for that car. The company even says that the client has the freedom to choose the sound they want. Most recent additions include the Ferrari Enzo, Range Rover ‘Sports’ Exhaust, Lotus Elise 111R (Toyota) and the Lamborghini Gallardo. Quicksilver Exhaust Systems has its based in Wormley, Surrey, UK.
