Kwik-Fit Appoints New CEO
Kwik-Fit has appointed Ian Fraser as its new chief executive, as of the 1st February 2005.
Mr Fraser takes over from Tim Parker, who resigned last summer in order to take up the CEO role at the AA. Despite the move Mr Parker remains deputy chairman of Kwik-Fit.
The new CEO previously worked as chief operating officer of Orange UK and before that was trading director at Safeway. He is also a non-executive director of Punch Taverns and Blueheath Holdings.
Sir Trevor Chinn, chairman of Kwik-Fit, said: “Ian Fraser is a very talented executive with an outstanding track record. We are fortunate to have attracted his services at such an important time in Kwik-Fit’s development, following a very successful sales and profit performance in 2004.”
Ian Fraser added: “I am delighted to be joining the Kwik-Fit Group at this exciting time in the company’s development. The work already undertaken by the existing team in focusing the business on delivering value and quality service to our customers has already laid a sound foundation for the continuing success of the group.”
