National Tyres Works With Woman for Charity
Woman magazine, is to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign by running a competition in association with National Tyres and Autocare. The competition will five readers the opportunity to win a limited edition pink Smart car, worth £8000, and raise money for charity at the same time.
According to Woman’s publishers, IPC, readers will be eligible to enter as many times as they want with all profits from the competition hotline going to Breast Cancer Campaign. Details of the competition will be published in the 22 November issue of Woman magazine, with a winner being drawn at random on 7 December.
“Breast cancer is a subject that our readers care deeply about, and which touches all our lives in some way. Woman is delighted to be working with National Tyres and Autocare to support research into breast cancer – and offer our readers the chance to win a fab new car at the same time,” said Woman editor, Carole Russell.
During October and November, National was involved in a similarly charity venture. The company offered a free no obligation car health check service, with 50 pence from each tyre sold going to Breast Cancer Campaign. At the halfway stage the company had achieved £55,000 of its £100,000 fundraising target.
