Matador Gains Strength in the OE Market.
Matador has completed a majority share purchase agreement with joint-stock company Pal-Inalfa from Vrable, Slovakia. The acquisition will now provide the group with access to the suppliers and producers segment of the car industry.
The purchase follows two years of intensive preparations and means that Matador has now moved into its fourth basic trading division ‘automotive business.’ Mr Stefan Rosina, president of Matador states: “The conclusion of this contract has opened the door for us to the global automotive production market and we intend to take full advantage of this opportunity with a strategy that is very customer orientated in the area of development, production and the sales of tyres, machinery and conveyor belts. Matador is fully capable of producing top quality tyres and the company’s research and development division are constantly monitoring the latest trends in order to keep pace with current innovations on tyre products on a worldwide level.”
Pal-Inalfa is part of Inalfa Industries (Holland) which operates three factories in Slovakia in Bratislava, Nitre and Vrable plus an additional production base in the Czech Republic serving VW, Audi, Skoda, Suzuki and Daimler-Chrysler.
