Toyo Tire Launches US Construction Project
Toyo Tire & Rubber Co officially “broke ground” this week for its new manufacturing plant and warehousing facility in Bartow County, Georgia. State officials and local dignitaries witnessed the event which marks the official start of construction of the company’s first wholly owned North American tyre manufacturing facility.
The 1.03 million square feet building will be built on a 150-acre site and will initially be able to produce 2 million passenger, light truck and SUV tyres annually. Toyo has invested $150 million into the products so far.
