Goodyear Dunlop PA Wins National Award

Jackie Mead, PA to the general manager of Goodyear Dunlop Tyres UK Ltd, has won the inaugural Smart Secretary/PA of the Year Award. As a result of her achievement Jackie has won a number of prizes including a luxury holiday at a five-star hotel in Cyprus, a weekend at a Champneys health resort, a three-night spa weekend at the Victorian hotel Thoresby Hall, a luxury Harrods hamper, a gift bag from Conqueror stationery and a Hewlett Packard colour printer.

The Smart Secretary/ PA of the year competition was designed to raise the profile of secretaries and PA’s who increasingly play a key role in the successful functioning of any office.

In order to win Jackie had to go through a rigorous selection process. Secretaries and PA’s from around the country were invited to participate by getting their bosses to submit a 250-word nomination to support their applications. From this four finalists were selected to take part in a day of testing at the Barnet Hill Conference Centre in Guildford, Surrey, where a panel of distinguished judges put them through their paces.

Smart Secretary/PA of the Year Award is organised by Smart PA magazine and sponsored by recruitment company, Kelly Services.
