Stapletons Reshuffle Sales Team
Stapletons has reshuffled its sales team in a move designed to deliver an improved customer service. The company has appointed Paul Lewis as dedicated telesales service manager, with the business development team expanded to cover the UK.
Mr Lewis brings over nine years’ experience of developing staff in customer service, sales and telesales skills to his new role where he is responsible for providing an ‘industry leading’ level of customer service. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of my new role with Stapletons. I want to make a major contribution by taking Customer Services and Internal Sales onto the next stage of their development,” said Mr Lewis.
The company will now have eight business development managers covering regions across the UK. The most recent addition to the team is Lizzi Thorpe, who covers the North East region. Lizzi Thorpe began her career at Stapletons 10 years ago in telesales, becoming a business development manager in May. Her focus is to win new business and develop existing customer relationships. “The role involves listening to customers’ needs and requirements. I am supported by both an efficient sales department and an able transport and warehousing team who ensure the tyres ordered are delivered correctly and on time,” she said adding that, “I enjoy my job immensely and look forward to my future as the north east business development manager.”
Stapletons’ Eric Foster said that the new structure was the result of the company’s ongoing mission to provide the best level of service in the industry. “Our stated aim is that we are determined to deliver more and that means continually looking for areas of improvement in how we support our customers. As our business expands, we wanted to ensure that tyre dealers can continue to depend on us for rapid delivery and stock availability,” said Mr Foster.
