Goodyear and Dunlop Show New Lines
Goodyear and Dunlop have exhibited a number of new and forthcoming products. While sharing exhibition space the two brand maintained their independent identities and made every effort to affirm the company’s emphasis on economy. This was visible through the stand’s general bias towards low profile products which designed to give haulage companies the maximum value for their money.
The Goodyear portion of the stand had the majority of the new products, showing four new tyres – the Marathon LHS, Regional RHD, Ultra Grip WTD and the Marathon LHD+. The tyres represent the company’s complete “dream team” drive, steer and trailer tyre solution.
Dunlop showed the 265/70R19.5 SP252 long haul trailer tyre and what the company calls its “first new-generation winter tyre.” As the new winter product, the SP362 315/80R22.5, is designed for use on snowy and wet roads, Dunlop is really aiming at customers who run coach tours to Nordic countries and ski resorts.
The new winter tyre will be available in a range of popular sizes including:
295/80R22.5
315/80R22.5
315/70R22.5
385/65R22.5
In addition the SP362 features studding locations allowing studs to be added if required.
