Bridgestone Creates New Sales Role
Bridgestone UK has created a new role within its sales force to capitalise on what it sees as the next growth market in the UK tyre industry. Phil Livingston will now operate in the newly formed position of car dealer executive for the north of the UK. “The car dealership market is a potential growth area as more and more dealerships look to supply and fit tyres as a means of providing their customers with ‘one-stop shopping’,” said Mr Livingston.
Phil Livingston has more than 22 years experience in the tyre trade, and has worked in Scotland as an area sales manager and business development manager for Bridgestone, for the past four. Prior to joining Bridgestone Mr Livingston worked for seven years as a motor dealer account manager at National Tyres, and spent 11 years at ATS as sales manager for Scotland.
