Michelin Celebrate Silverstone Victory

The English round of the Le Man Edurance Series, held at Silverstone, ended in victory for the P.Kaffer/A.McNish.
The Audi Sport UK/Veloqx vehicle won the race running on Michelin tyres.

For this third round, Michelin had two new partners; Team Nasamax (Lupberger/Stirling/Dumas) and Team Jota (Hignett/Stack/Collini.) These two crews recorded their best result of the year, finishing fifth and sixth overall and in their category.

The Audi-Michelin cars were only deprived of pole position by the Zytec-Michelins of Kerr and Dyson, although by the end of the race the Audi team occupyied two podium positions. The Team Goh Audi-Michelin finished second, splitting the two Team Audi Sport UK/Veloxq machines.

The No. 22 Zytec confirmed its pole position performance by recording the fastest race lap, but finished the Silverstone 1000km in fourth place spot.
