TRIB Appoints Associate Director
The Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) has announced David Kolman as its new associate director.
Based in California, the TRIB is associated with the recycling of tyres through repair and retreading. Mr Kolman will operate from Baltimore, giving the bureau its first office on the East Coast and adding to its existing group of over 400 members in 28 countries worldwide.
The tyre retread information service believes that Mr Kolman will bring, “a unique combination of diverse experience in both the trucking and communications industries.” Mr Kolman boasts a background in truck trade journalism, broadcasting, photography and sales and marketing. On top of this, the new associate director founded both the Used Truck Association and the Truck Writers of North America.
Mr Kolman’s duties will centre on providing up-to-date information about tyre retreading and repairing to both the private and public sectors.
“I have known David Kolman for many years and am delighted that he has agreed to join TRIB. He will enable us to expand our operations into new areas and he brings the high level of professionalism that our members and the media deserve from our association. We are lucky to have him on the TRIB team,” said Harvey Brodsky, TRIB’s managing director.
