New AA Academy
The AA has opened a new training centre at Six Hills, Leicestershire. The academy will now become the main UK site for AA technical training.
The training school was officially opened by AA managing director, Roger Wood and replaced the previous centre that was situated at Widmerpool, Nottinghamshire, which closed in April.
The new site is the latest stage in the company’s plan to develop the AA Academy, and further its aim to “provide the best technical training for the motor industry.”
Six Hills will specialise in technical training for both motor manufacturers and company employees, including patrols. The service will provide training to some of the major motor manufacturers, including the Volkswagen Group, Peugeot and Citroen.
