INTERauto 2004 to Host Free Seminars
Automotive interior show, INTERauto has announced that it will be hosting a programme of free seminars for visitors at this year’s event.
The exhibition, to be held in Cologne on 3-5 November, will be the 7th show organised by Turret RAI plc. The company describes the show as “the place for automotive interior manufacturers to meet and showcase current ideas and products in all aspects of the industry.”
The free to attend seminars will be held on the final two days of the show. The discussion groups will examine recent developments and illustrate their impact on the automotive interiors industry.
The 20 minute sessions will include: New design opportunities for the car interior by three dimensional EL systems, by Dr Klaus S Reinartz and Dr Andreas Knoll of Bayer MaterialScience AG and How do we make the interiors of cars safer for those on the outside? Presented by Julian Styles, business unit leader at Pi Technology.
Steve Mathers, commercial director of Pressac Decorative Systems, will talk about: The challenge between interior styling trends and growth in driver interface systems, whilst Karl-Heinz von Zengen will present a paper on Aluminium in automotive applications – light and safe.
The final two sessions will include: Michael Kozbial, senior marketing manager at Avery Dennison Performance Films Division, speaking on How design will influence in-mould decorations, and Walter Franz, CEO at Datacolor AG, on, The digital route to in-car colour harmony.
