Honeywell Completes Friction Materials Team
Honeywell Friction Materials has completed its new management team by announcing Scott Buckhout as vice president and general manager, Europe region and Eric Rozier as vice president and general manager, Americas region. The appointments come just two months after the company named Laura Ulz president.
“We are actively pursuing a path to revitalize and grow the Friction Materials business,” said Rob Gillette, president and CEO of Honeywell’s transportation systems unit. “This team is well-equipped and has a proven track record of delivering business growth. We are delighted to have such a high calibre team lead this organisation.”
Scott Buckhout will replace Philippe James, in the Europe region, effective 1 August. Mr Buckhout was previously VP and general manager of the Americas region where he launched new products, improved customer service and streamlined operations.
Consequently Eric Rozier, will replace Scott Buckhout as VP and general manager of the Americas region effective 19 July. Mr Rozier is currently VP, Autolite, for Honeywell’s Consumer Products Group. He has been leading the Autolite business and the OE business for CPG for the last three years.
President of Honeywell Friction Materials, Laura Ulz, is a 15-year veteran of Honeywell International. Laura Ulz most recently served as VP and general manager of Sensing Integration in the Automotive and Control Solutions business where she led the integration of Honeywell’s 2002 acquisitions of Invensys Sensor Systems and Sensotec. She replaces Joe Puishys, who was recently named President of Honeywell Building Solutions.
The maker of Bendix and Jurid branded braking products, the business generates nearly $800 million (£430 million) in annual sales to the original equipment and aftermarket.
