Goodyear Re-elects Directors
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s shareholders have re-elected Robert J Keegan, Rodney O’Neal and Shirley D Peterson to serve as company directors for a further three years. John G Breen was elected to serve for the final year of a three-year term on the board.
Robert J Keegan is the chairman and chief executive of Goodyear. Rodney O’Neal will continue in his roles as president of, dynamics, propulsion, thermal and interior sector, Delphi Corporation. Shirley Peterson is a retired former partner of the Steptoe & Johnson LLP law firm and has held a number of senior government positions including commissioner of the internal revenue service. John Breen is a former chairman of the Sherwin-Williams Company.
The other directors, whose terms will continue are: Susan E Arnold, Gary D Forsee and William J Hudson. Theses terms will all expire in 2005. The re-elected director’s whose terms will finish the following year are: James C Boland, Steven A Minter and James M Zimmerman. Agnar Pytte retired from the board today.
