Eberspächer Cooperate with Calsonickansei

German exhaust specialists, Eberspächer, and Japanese automotive component supplier, Calsonickansei, are to “intensify their collaboration” by setting up a marketing joint venture in Paris. The company will operate under the name of ACE Alliance CalsonicKansei Eberspächer S.A.S.

The purpose of the 50:50 partnership is to submit bids for transcontinental vehicle platforms by European and Japanese carmakers. According to Hans Günther Ullrich, managing director of Eberspächer Exhaust Systems, the synergies provide competitive advantages for both partners as well as their customers, thanks to combining their advanced development and manufacturing competencies.
