AA Chief to Open NTDA Conference
The NTDA has announced that Tim Parker, former Kwik-Fit and current AA CEO, will open the business sessions at the association’s annual conference. John Tarbox, chairman of the organising committee is enthusiastic about the success of the conference.
“We already have more delegates registered for this year, with nearly three months to go, than we did for the conference in Palma in 2003. This gives us confidence that we will attract a significant increase in delegates to Marbella in September.”
Mr Tarbox was pleased that the new AA chief was involved. “Arrangements for the business side of the conference are now in place and we are delighted to announce that Tim Parker has agreed to open the business sessions. His vast experience of retailing in the UK will give delegates an interesting insight into tyre retailing and we all look forward to hearing his views.”
In addition to the business sessions the conference will feature a number of social events, “Our key event will be the closing evening and we have a number of great surprises in store,” added Mr Tarbox.
